At Hospice of the Northwest, we are privileged to witness the profound strength of the human spirit every day. Gratitude permeates every aspect of our work—guiding our approach to end-of-life care and deepening our connection to the individuals and families we serve.
Providing hospice care in our community is a privilege that we cherish as we walk alongside our patients, providing personalized medical, emotional, social, and spiritual support through some of life’s most challenging moments. Each member of our interdisciplinary team—providers, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, hospice aides, volunteers, integrative therapists and beyond—works together with a singular goal: to honor every patient’s journey and help them live every moment with compassion and dignity.
Our gratitude extends beyond the care we provide. It includes the opportunity to serve bereaved families as they navigate the loss of a loved one. Through grief counseling, support groups, and individual outreach, we strive to bring comfort, healing, and hope to the people who trust us during these tender times. The resilience and vulnerability shared by these families inspires us to continue our mission of compassionate care.
We are also deeply thankful for the incredible support we receive from our community. Through the philanthropic support of Hospice of the Northwest Foundation donors, Hospice of the Northwest can enhance end-of-life care for our patients by offering integrative services like aromatherapy, massage and therapeutic music sessions. Whether through a thoughtful card, a generous contribution, or a kind word, your acts of kindness ripple outward, touching countless lives.
As we reflect on this season of gratitude, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every patient and their circles of support who have trusted us as they navigate their unique end-of-life journeys.
Together, we are creating a community of compassion, where dignity, grace, and hope prevail. If you or someone you know could benefit from hospice care, grief support, or a listening ear, we are here to help. Please call our office at (360) 814-5550 to learn more about our services and how we can support you and your loved ones.
Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your story. It is an honor we hold close to our hearts.
With sincere gratitude,
Bob Laws, RN
