We are proud to announce that Hospice of the Northwest has been named a 2024 Hospice Honors Elite recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst, our trusted hospice survey partner. This prestigious award is presented annually to hospices that demonstrate the highest levels of care quality, as measured through the eyes of those who know it best—the caregivers and loved ones of our patients.
Hospice Honors Elite Distinction
The Hospice Honors Elite distinction reflects excellence across multiple dimensions of care. The criteria for this award are based on results from the CAHPS Hospice Survey—a national, standardized survey capturing the experiences of family members or friends who cared for a patient in hospice. To earn this honor, recipients had to excel across 24 quality indicators from October 2022 through September 2023, outperforming the HEALTHCAREfirst National Performance Score on every single measure. This achievement recognizes not just the care we provide to patients, but also the compassionate support we extend to caregivers, helping families navigate difficult journeys with dignity and grace.
