Carol Hawk
Carol received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and went on to become a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. She joined Skagit County Public Hospital District 304 in 1994 and has advanced roles several times during her tenure, now serving as the Chief Operating Officer. Carol brings a wealth of community health experience and leadership skills to her position with the Hospice of the Northwest Operating Council.
Carol treasures her role on the Operating Council because hospice made an imprint on her own life. When her father was facing a terminal cancer diagnosis back home in Texas, they were fortunate enough to receive excellent hospice care. “I saw first-hand how the comfort, guidance, and assistance provided by hospice supported our family during one of our hardest times,” says Carol. “Being involved with Hospice of the Northwest, with the amazing whole-person care provided by this team, is truly an honor.”
