Quality and Compliance Manager

Joined Hospice of the Northwest in 2013

Christine manages the Quality and Compliance Department at Hospice of the Northwest with a focus on data-driven process improvement. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto and became a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) in 2013. The CPHQ credential endorses her knowledge and competencies in Organizational Leadership, Health Data Analytics, Performance and Process Improvement, and Patient Safety.  

Christine spent seven years on the Quality and Standards committee for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), and served as faculty in a variety of capacities for NHPCO.  

For three years, Christine served on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. The Baldrige Award is the nation’s highest honor for organizational innovation and performance excellence. The examiner board is composed of leading experts competitively selected from industry, professional, trade, education, health care, and nonprofit (including government) organizations from across the United States.  

Christine is passionate about using data and continuous improvement to elevate patient care and quality at Hospice of the Northwest. Outside of her work in hospice, she enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and flying.
